It's only an act
A BBC Correspondent was heard saying on the Today programme yesterday, that "Politics has become a Performance Art."
He was of course referring to the Conservative leadership campaign, where it seems that the contenders are only really being judged on their presentations - rather than their substance. But it is good to see that the young Mr Cameron appears to be exciting the crowds with speeches given 'without notes'. Mind you - the other party appears to base its entire political strategy around Presentation, so perhaps that's the world we live in today.
But, what will be the fallout for us - the people?
